Police blotter: 'Acquaintance' takes $700 at Wiebe Motel

Public intoxication, San Juan Road
At 10 a.m. Monday police responded to a "man down" call at the Quik Stop Market on San Juan Road. They quickly determined that the man was down due to a high level of intoxication and arrested him for being drunk in public.
CRIMINAL REPORTS
Found property, Olive Street
Police took a report on Tuesday from a citizen who found, and turned in, personal items he found in the alley west of Olive Street. The items included credit cards, payment cards, a Social Security card and checkbooks.
Armed robbery, Third Street
Police took a report of armed robbery at 6:40 p.m. Saturday from a victim who told them he had been walking near the 300 block of Fremont Street near Fremont School when he was approached by an unknown suspect who showed a pistol and demanded money. The suspect fled without any money and remains at large.
Grand Theft, San Felipe Road
A report was filed by a victim Saturday staying at the Wiebe Motel, 1271 San Felipe Road, that an "acquaintance" took $700 while she was in the shower and fled the hotel room.
