Jennifer Brooks
Syracuse University law students continue to have one of the most successful seasons in the College of Law's trial team history. On Feb. 10, third-year students Olatokunbo Olaniyan, Rafiel D. Warfield and Joseph Nosse, and second-year student Jennifer Brooks of Morgan Hill, defeated St. John's University School of Law in the National Trial Competition regional championship in White Plains, N.Y. Olaniyan was named Best Advocate in the tournament.
The winning team of Olaniyan, Warfield, Nosse and Brooks advances to the national championship round in Austin, Texas, March 26-29. The nationwide tournament is sponsored by the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
